Dear All, I still haven't been able to read ilusion's reply (which I guess so). But I feel like he's saying that the general solution of my Partial d.e. is; exp(D^1(M+C)x -Ct) * b, where M,C,D are matrices and b a vector. This is, however, not correct. Why? In general, exp(At) * exp(Bt) is not equal to exp((A+B)t). All in all, a matrix differentail equation can NOT be treated like a scalar one. Furthermore, a vector differential equation should get attention even more. Listen everyone, my problem is quite interesting and worth trying. It's not as simple as it looks to be. :) Thanks all, Jinoo Joung |
