Hi, I am a graduate student in KAIST(Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) majoring Computer Science. In my project, I was assigned to survey the current cryptography technology used in commercial or public-domain products but, I am just a beginner on this teritory, Crytography Society, I don't know how many products and what technologies are used in real or commercial world. So it would be great help for me that anyone could reply with any information or pointer about the "currently being used technology in influential products in computer and communication society". The wanted attributes is as follows (of course the more detailed more helpful) Wordprocessor WordPerfect V5.0 how to get = commercial, WordPerfect Pacific Co., $xx; no athentication; no integrity; no public key system; encryption/decryption key Size = variable upto k bytes included in file ... algorithm ... In my opinion, some classification would be helpful : 1) communication (elm, PEM, ...) 2) Wordprocessor (WordPerfect, ...) 3) DBMS (dBase, Oracle, ...) 4) OS (MS-Windows, Unix, ...) 5) etc About 2 or 3 months later, I will arrange the informations and post it in this board provided that it is valuable.
