Anyway, I posted regarding his album on the kids music board, you can make a reference to it:) His piano concerto No.2 is well known to Korean since a SamickPiano ad on TV. However, I personally recommend you No.3 and Variation on the theme of Paganini. They say that Vladimir Ashkenazy is one of the best interpreters of Rachmaninov piano concerto. There is an anecdote that Rachmaninov never played his piano music after he heard Horowitz(spelling????)'s performance, saying 'He is better than me in my music'. I have the following albums of Piano concert No.2: Ashkenazy--i left this album in Korea,forgot the publisher Andrei Gavrilov-same comment here. Date: Sat Apr 15 20:19:29 1995 라흐마니노프 피아노협주곡2번의 명반들 중에서 제가 추천하고싶은것은 1.피아노협주곡전집--블라디미르 아쉬케나지의 피아노연주로 (그는 라흐마니노프 스폐셜리스트므로 가장 무난하다는 편을듣습니다) 지휘는 베르나르트 하이팅크이고 암스테르담 콘서트헤보 관현악단연주며 DECCA반입니다. 2.미하일 루디의 피아노의 피아노 협연에 마리스 얀손스의 지휘로 레닌그라드 필하모닉의 연주로EMI반입니다. 3.고전적인 명반으로는 스비아토슬라브 리히테르의 연주가있습니다. DG반 4.무엇보다도 라흐마니노프의 곡은 그 자신이 연주한곡이 가장 곡해석에서도 완벽하다고할수있는데 최근에 자작연주반들이 많이나오면서 라흐마니노프 스스로가 자신의 곡을 연주한것이있습니다.. 모노럴녹음이라서 듣기에 좀 귀가 가려운느낌도있지만..생각보다 꽤 괜찮더군요. RCA에서 CD로 필라델피아 오케스트라 연주.유진오먼디.레오폴드스토코프스키 의 지휘. 라흐마니노프의 피아노연주를 내놓은것이있습니다.. Date: Sun Apr 16 14:32:16 1995 위의 연주들에 한가지 덧붙인다면... 클라이번, 라이너/시카고 심포니 연주도 좋더군요. 클라이번이 차이코프스키 콩쿨 우승 직후에 녹음한 음반. 무엇보다도 클라이번의 젊음이 느껴지는 연주. (지금은 할아버지가 다 됐지만...) 그리고 아쉬케나지의 연주는 두종류가 있습니다. 하나는 위에 나온 하이팅크/컨서트헤보, 그리고 그전에 녹음한 프레빈/LSO(?). 어떤 연주가 더 낫다고 말하긴 힘들지만 개인적으로는 하이팅크/컨서트헤보를 좋아합니다. 하긴, 아쉬케나지의 옛 녹음은 들은지 오래돼서 잘 생각이 안나긴 하지만요. |
