| [ Music ] in KIDS 글 쓴 이(By): KroQ ( 秋 男) 날 짜 (Date): 2003년 7월 9일 수요일 오전 07시 40분 14초 제 목(Title): Re: 레드 제플린 first...sorry for writing in english...dont have korean window or iyagi right now... im guessing u guys r talking about new lz live album called 'how the west was won'.... the significance of this album comes from the fact that there was an album regarding the same tour many years back...but as jimmy paige noted and as i thought at the time...i couldnt understand y there were so many great songs ommited in the previous album... this current album is compilation of many tours that lz has done in southern california area...or more accurately in LA area...or even more narrowly in forum and long beach arena in late 70s.... although sound and picture might not be good as other studio album or more recent live albums...it gives u feeling of how great lz was in their prime..with not just playing and creating music..but also with their stage presence and especially great drumming of late drummer(forgot his name)...which is y paige said there wont be any album or tour in anme of lz without greatest drummer in r&r history.... it is a bit disppointing when i think that would there be a korean group or musician that can come out with a live album that is almost 30 years old and hit the top of the chart like lz did....but then again the music industry scene in korea has improved tremendously...and when these kids(who r into hot and finkle, but who actually spends money for their band) grow up...they will more likely to be into music they love not the bands image...so the time will fix many things... most recent concert experience of mine was at verizon amphitheatre in irvine...by the who...about an year ago... it was great seeing them in person finally...and listening to them...even though their bass player died few month before that...i just wished the people would stop standing up...so i could actually relax and enjoy the music without being bothered by numerous heads popping up in front of me..as i was already being bothered by smell of weed smoke(damn i wanted to smoke so bad)... anyways...great album...a must buy...or a must burn...hehe Work like you don't need money.
