Of these, 2,200 or 31 percent were offered admission. The total first-year enrollment was 1,105. To request freshman application materials, contact the main Admissions Office. The freshman application consists of the following requirements. A Biographical Information Form. Part 1 of the two-part application for freshman admission should be completed and returned as soon as possible. A Tests, Activities, and Essay Form. Part II of the two-part application for freshman admission should be returned as soon as possible, but no later than November 1 for Early Action and January 1 for Regular Action. *One long and two short essays are required. *An Activities Label with information about the top five activities, interests or hobbies in order of importance to the applicant. Standardized Tests. If English is your native language. Take the SAT I* or the American College Test* (ACT) and three SAT II-Subject Tests, administered by the Educational Testing Service, one from each of the following groups: Mathematics Level I, Level II, or Level IIc, Chemistry or Physics or Biology, English or History. *If you do not normally speak English in your home, we suggest you take the Test of English as a Foreign Language as a supplement to the required tests.
