For example, you can elide the relative pronoun "that" when it is used as the object of the clause in which it would appear if not elided ("This is the knife [that] I used to kill MacBeth"), but only in a few dialects can you elide the same relative pronoun if it is the subject of the clause "This is the knife [that] stabbed MacBeth"). Why is this so? Because that's how English works. ========== 이분또 헛소리를 하는군요. this is the knife that stabbed macbeth에서 that 생략은 구어체에서나 문어체에서나 생략 못합니다. 생략을 하게되면 그순간 문법을 떠나서 '의미'가 이상해지거든요. 심지어 구어체에서 누가 그렇게 that 을 생략합니까? 아마 멕베뜨가 있던 세익스피어적 문법룰을 가져와서 헛소리 하시는게 아닌지요. 근데 pronoun 이 뭡니까? ^^ 보통은 this is the knife macbeth was stabbed라고 하죠. 능동형보다는 언제나 피동형이 구어체에서 보다 부드럽습니다. 능동형은 언제나 강한 액션을 의미하기때문에 그러해요. 그럴때는 that이 생략이 가능합니다. 이건 i recommend this book 이 i recommend this book to you 나 you가 들어간 어떠한 ㅁ형태보다 더많이 쓰이는거랑 일치합니다. 이분은 근데 가장 많이 쓰이는 문장형태는 항상 쏙빼놓고어디서 성문종합영어에서나 나옴직한 구닥다리 문어체 들고와서 그 용법에 대해서 이게 다른 구닥다리 용법보다 더 잘쓰입니다~ 하니 좀 황당할 나름이군요. 키즈깡패단 단장 본협회에가입하실분은연락바떰� 하는일 키즈의 추접떠는 죽돌이들청소 titipas@earthlink.net |
