Photons emitted by lasing have, of course, the same wave length but that doesn't mean that they are in phase. The coherence (which means "in phase") of photons is obtained by the resonance in the Fabry-Perot cavity in a lasing system. What tells a laser from other light sources is the coherence of photons. |
