As is often the case with discount air liner tickets, the price goes up during the highest season and goes down in other periods of the year. THe year end Tokyo-Seoul ticket price goes up from Dec. 22, and prob. won't come down until Jan. 2! That's because of the number of passengers who wish to fly to Seoul. (Imagine which country has Korean visitors and/or travelers to Korea more, Japan or Swiss?) The cheapest price, say, for late Feburary or mid June will be something around 30,000yen, but the year end or Christmas season ticket will probably cost you around 6-80,000 yen! (and for that reason I decided to use my United Air mileage to ger a business class roundtrip to Seoul for free!
