Installing hanterm on an X-terminal requiressuperuser privilege. For the missing header file, if you don't have it, you may have a wrong version of X, or you may have it on a different path. It is usual that even if you copy that very header file from another computer, you cannot get the compiled binary run because the header file is not compatible to your X system. So you must: 1. check if your hanterm version can be compiled on your X version 2. if so, where are all the X related files ? And after all the compilation process is done and you have the right binary and when you run it, if it complains that you don't have some specific fonts, it is the time to ask the system administrator to copy your fonts file into the system area where the X terminal loads its own fonts and rebuild the font library. And if you are working in non-Korean environment, it is quite unlikely that your system administrator knows what to do even if the person is a kind of guru. So the easiest way to have a working hanterm is, first having a workstation which can do the X. Then the work would be a lot easier. If your X server is a sun, you can find the header files at around: /usr/openwin/include or around. Good Luck. I hope you can read the Korean documents around soon. -- Gyudong Kim % Dept. of Electronics, Seoul Nat'l Univ., Seoul 151-742, Korea chilly % Phone +82 2 880 7280; Fax +82 2 885 6993; Pager +82 12 845 3420 Fabiano % http://asadal.snu.ac.kr/~chilly, chilly@iclab.snu.ac.kr |
