Koreans in general seem to be a bit curious :) I met her in a dance cafe here in Karlsruhe/Germany. She was there with a another Korean lady and a german guy. Finally that Korean lady and the german guy started dancing and I took my chance :) She was there for the very first time and I was there for the first time since 4 years. So we really met by accident. Two weeks later that cafe closed forwever, so we never would have met again. When we had to go, at 2am or so, she said " I don't think I'll see you again, or .....?". I said "or!". I gave her my business card and let her promise me to call me. There was just some slight problems: a) she didn't call b) I just know her first name (but only how it sounds) and the city (80.000 inhabitants) c) I wasn't sure whether she told me the truth or just lies you don't lie to me neither, do you ? :) One week, two weeks, three weeks .... I meanwhile went to the main post office and read the complete phone-book of that city, scanning for names that sound asian. But she wasn't in. So I started to call hospitals in that region (she told me she's a nurse). However those guys were not allowed to provide information . So I hold them I'm in love with a girl and i f there is a Korean with that name, they should just pass on my address to her. Finally one of those guys called me back (though he wasn't allowed to!) and said, that she once worked there. But he was not allowed to give me that last name.... After 3 weeks she called ! The first sentence I said was : give me your address, I never want to happen that again ..... 2 weeks later we met the first time - she arrived two hours late, because she lost her way. I was still waiting in the cold :) And I asked her if she would marry me that very day ... Wasn't that romantic ? |
