I think that today(June 27) is general election day in Korea, isn뭪 it? I hope that this election give birth to great person to work for most of people.... I want to let mania for baseball(in Krea) know about Hideo Nomo. I have been in Dodger stadium on the last Sat.(night game). That game was the most biggest game so far(of course in this year). The reasons were as follows : 1. If Dodger wins, then Dodger will be on the top. 2. Pitcher is Hideo Nomo(In USA, all the probaseball team adopt pre-notification of pitchers for the next few games). 3. Opponent team is Sanfransisco(As you know, Sanfransisco team is very strong one in the National league). Nomo was great!!! Nomo permitted only 2-single hits. The final score was 7:0. I saw two homeruns(2-run, 3-run). The game was very exciting to me.... I was much surprised at the parking lots and roads. The audience of that day was about 55,000(I saw the No. of audience on that day, but I can뭪 remember it). As you know, you can seldom see taxi and buses in LA. In LA there is no subway. So everyone uses his/her own car. I guess that all the car at near Dodger stadium were at least 20,000~25,000. What a huge number of cars in comapared to that of Korea뭩. After the game was finished, I never sufferred from traffic jam!! As you know, ChanHo Park is in triple A of minor league. The level of AAA of minor leage is much better than that of strong team in Korea How is the weather like in Korea? Is it hot and sticky? Take good care of your health! Regards, Demisoda |
