No, I am not a trekkie, but I enjoy watching Star Trek series(Especially the Next Generation). I don't really care for the Deep Space 9. It's too bad that ST NG tv series ended. I hope the ST Voyageur. will be good as NG. As for the movie, it was O.K. I enjoyed Data's performance and special effect was great! I was disappointed that Mr. Spock was not there... No wonder the logic behind Nexus was not up to the standards of the Vulcan :) Captain Picard said that things that were happening in the Nexus was not real. Captain Kirk realized that too.(After the horse ride). Then how can they go back and change what has already happened? and make that into reality?
