After reading your posting o the chemical properties of woman, I had to respond. It was pretty amusing to read the earlier one about the different/hypocritical application of criteria to men and women.. I sympathizw with a lot fo the sentiments, and I found them quite witty too. But this one went a little too much. What would other female netties would think? And you too, Jhan.. I thought so highly of your wit and prose in the past. I know, I know, people will probably think that I can't let a simple joke go by. But somehow I think you can still come up with a good joke without being sexist. We live in an era of over hyped political correctness, and I certainly don't watch everything I say in public, but when jokes like these circulate in a public spheres such as the internet, I can't help feel a little bothered. What do others think about this? |
