I wasn't sure whether you just wanted to know the opening and closing remarks of a prayer, or whether you wanted to know the basic format of the prayer. Hence, I will tell you about them both. A prayer has 3 components. First, you repent by telling God all your faults, all your misdeeds and your wrong-doing and you ask for forgiveness. Second, you ask for God for help in your life, in your problems, and what you want to achieve. Third, you pray for others, for your loved ones and friends, for their well-being and solving of their probelms. Usually a prayer's opening remarks are of glorification of God and his deeds to the world and the closing remarks are of asking for help for their problems. The closing phrase is usually ''in the name of the father, the son, and holy ghost, Amen.'' I hope this helps you! Also, you may want to get more information about a prayer from a religious person.
