"Norm" means the value majority takes and is not necessarily fixed nor monotonous. A sound society, I think, is the one that maintains (and has ability to allow) variety of norms. In this sense, everyone can be not "normal" but unique--I think. Put a trust in me on this matter, yoyoma (and Rara). Sometimes, I hardly understand how people can be lax about choosing languages in public. You might be disgusted by some postings of others; however, could (and should) be more "constructive" to critisize 'em--I think. When I said, "A charming posting," I wasn't kidding; I really liked it. Please come back Rara, as exist. Hope you two (i.e. yoyoma and Rara) soon have rendezvous here on EnglishOnly; one alligator, the other alligator-bird.
