| [ EnglishOnly ] in KIDS 글 쓴 이(By): tivor (the wolf) 날 짜 (Date): 1994년09월12일(월) 07시46분28초 KDT 제 목(Title): internet, real or virtual world? in my opinion, internet is a new social and communications paradigm. what does that mean? well, it's not REAL world per se, but it can get pretty "real" for many people. any kind of human interaction (except those requiring physical contact) that happens in real world can happen over internet... including friendship, hatred, jealousy, love, rumors, mud-slinging... whatever, you name it. it's there. so it's pretty much of a "virtual" world (because it's not "real"). as a new paradigm, it'll have a varying, but substantial effect on people's lives, just as printing press and abundance of book did several centuries aback. so... i think internet deserves some serious look from everybody. i think it will be an inseparable part of the "real" world in the future.
