I'm staring at the computer screen absently, feeling helpless. If freedom requires knowing the choices I'm not free. I see no choices (of mine) for this "crisis." Seems that neither does S. Korea. Do you? The word, crisis, is understood as a dangerous situation (or time). However, it is derived from Greek, "krisis," meaning decision. It also has the meaningful meaning, turning point. Though Westerners has an obsessive fear to the chaos in history, it's chaos that created new stage/form through history, believed our ancestors. Acceptance doesn't necessarily mean fatalism; it also means participance with optimism and wisdom. I "decide" being not frustrated but hopeful for positive "turing point" in Korean peninsula.
