It's true that there are a lot of people who joins in fraternity and screw their grades, but it's certain that not every in fraternity has screwed up grades. I don't know what school you go to or went to, but as far as my school's fraternity is concern, the fraternity here are not just one stupid party-get-drunk-drug-addicts group like some other schools (may be yours). It's true a lot of universities' fraternities are out of control and often forget who they are, but there are also a lot of universities that have fraternities that aren't. Well, but forsure fraternities party a lot. Yeah, most of fraternity guys have very bad grades for sure. but you have to think, NOT ALL THE PEOPLE IN THE SCHOOL HAS GOAL OF HAVING 4.0 GRADES AND GO HARVARD! My friend in Delts is getting almost straght A's and he was in fraternity since he was freshman. ALSO, you don't have to go to every party just because you are in fraternity. YOU GET ALL THE (ALMOST ALL) **INVITATION** TO PARTIES, not you get dregged to there! YOu can always say no and you can always stay home and do your homework or study.
