Hans Zimmer is the guy who composed for "Rain Man," "Black Rain," and "Driving Miss Daisy." the last one is, you know, grandma-kinda music. but the first two are awesome soundtracks with good mix of synth sounds with guitar and vocal. he's one of the few guys whose CD i would buy just because his name is on it. and i bought the CD for "Point of No Return" even though i never watched the movie and have no idea what the CD was like. i wasn't disappointed. awesome percussion track with lovely synth and guitar sounds. the hans zimmer stuff that i have come to like. =) it is a good CD. i'm listening to it as i'm typing this, and even the songs that zimmer did not write are good. oldie jazzy stuff, and they are not bad. pretty good, actually. i love it when i find a good CD like this. =))) now if i can just find the CD for "Demolition Man".... i hope it's full of techno/industrial scores that i heard in the movie. =))) i have yet to listen to "The Piano" CD. not in the mood for piano music yet. any other good soundtrack out there? "Jurassic Park" soundtrack sucked. Tivor the Soundtrack-mania Wolf jcp2@cornell.edu |
