'Man is a dream of a dolphin.' interesting concept... coming from a shaman (according to the song..) well... all these posts about dreams remind me of one thing... anybody remember that tv cartoon 'ba-ram-dol-i'? (gga-bbi gga-bbi room room...) well, there was this one episode where these guys entered this litle girl's dream. there, they see the girl dreaming about being the most beautiful ballerina and stuff.... then they have to get out of her dream before the little girl wakes up, or they will also be 'erased' along with her dreams. and they see a puppy licking the girl's face in the outside real world.... i forgot what the whole premise of the episode was... but i still remember that part.... anyone else out there who know what i'm talking about? speaking of a dream... there is this one dream that i ALWAYS had when i was in high school. i ALWAYS had this dream ONLY on saturday nights. weird, huh? well, it's like this. like many other high school students, i used to cram all my work on sunday night, so i didn't do anything on saturday nights. (i went to an american high school, so the workload was mucho lighter than korean ones) well, every saturday night, i would dream about me waking up, not on Sunday morning, but on Monday morning! (weird, huh? =)) and i would go to school (still in my dream) with no homework done at all, and mrs. byrd (this old lady who taught my social studies stuff classes) would keep looking at me, as if to accuse 'i know you didnt do your work.' (she was really a nice lady, just that she got scary if i missed homework) well, then i would wake up, everything still hazy b/c of sleep... then i would remember my dream, and i would suddenly come to my senses. i start to wonder if it was sunday or monday morning, i look at the calendar, but, of course, you can never tell if it's sunday or monday morning by looking at the calendar. (what's the use for a calendar then??) so i would run out of my room, turn on the tv, and finally let out a sigh when i see sunday tv program on it. ("ya, il-yo-il-i-da" was usually the program.) (for those of you wondering, i went to an american school in seoul) stupid dream, i know. i always had that dream when i was sophomore and junior in high school. had that dream occassionally when i was senior.. and i never had that dream since coming to US for college.
