Dow Jones Industrial Average nose dived 512 points, setting a record second only to the 554 drop last fall. Nasdaq composite fell even more, 140 points setting the hightest drop in a single day. Both are down from where they started at the beginning of the year. Dow slipped approximately 1000 points in 3 trading days and Nasdaq about 270 during the span. It would be interesting to see how the rest of the world reacts to it. |
