As far as i'm concerned, studying aboard just to study English is almost ALWAYS just an excuse to escape from their normal boring life.... I'd say about 99.9999% of students who come to oversea just to learn English(Yeah right as if..) learn less than 10% of the English they could learn if they were SERIOUS. heh... oh btw, I saw an article on newspaper few days ago... saying average native English speaker knows about 4000 volcabulary.. I wonder how many words would thes 'idiotic' student(?) learn during few years of so-called 'studing English period'...... 200? maybe less? heh No wonder why major company such as 'Kia' goes bankrupted nowdays.... oh btw, i just want to make myself clear.... NOT repeat, NOT all of students are that idiotic... I saw someone who learned to speak just like native-English speaker within a year and half.... |
