Sae Bok and PoEM? geesh... i logged on after about a week's absence... and I see a whole lot of posts about this argument between Sae Bok and PoEM... but the thing is... I DONT SEE THE POST FROM SAE BOK THAT SUPPOSEDLY STARTED IT ALL!! hmm.... am i overlooking something? personally, i would like to see what started this "flame"... oh well, i wished i would be able to have some say in the argument, but it seems that it's all settled, and i dont wanna revive that flame... it's not like i can log onto kids very often to answer some posts or anything.... anyways... what was with that sysop?? doesn't he/she/it/whatever know that this is ENGLISHONLY board?????? goof-up of the year, it is for me.... =)))) i'd like to be able to read what he wrote... heheh secondly... gladly the argument is over... but please no harsh words.... personally, i dont like to cuss... and i try to keep those words out of my mouth... (i do lot of church work... and it doesnt look too good if i cussed around a lot =)) anyways, i dont think cuss words help any at all in arguments or debates. i think both sides (from what i can gather) had some interesting (but not necessarily correct) points, and i think it's useless to cuss at the other person making that point. but then again, it's all up to ya folks... =) i just prefer not to see these cuss words in writing, that's all.... =)))) what else can i write...? oh, a word to the guest ILoveMusic.... yeah, Suh Taiji's "Oo-ri-deul-man-ui Choo-eok" is full of self-boasting, huh? =) i thought it was really funny =)) i mean, every single one of American rappers (as far as i can tell) made one of those obnoxious songs, and it was hilarious to see Suh Taiji following that lead. =) it doesnt really fit in with the Korean virtue of humbleness either, of course.... i wonder how many people really understood what he said.... oh i forgot... there was korean translation in the lyric sheet..... oh well.... anyways, i really like that song =) and Suh Taiji raps a LOT better in this song than he did in "Blind Love", that English version of "Nan Al-a-yo".... oh one thing i wanna say about that song. i attend a university in US and i live in a dorm. one day, i was blasting Suh Taiji 2nd CD on my roommate's stereo (as usual) and it was playing "Oo-ri-deul-man-ui Choo-eok" at the time. this one american guy who also lived in the dorm was passing by (i had my door open) and then he asked me, "hey, what group is that?" so i told him that it was a Korean group. he wanted to see the cover, so I showed it to him... he said, "cool... this is really sweet." and left. about an hour later, he came back and asked me if he could borrow the CD for a while so that he could copy the song. I said sure and lent him the CD. Hmm =))) I guess Suh Taiji did a good job of copying the popular dance music style of America.... i hope one day, someone asks to copy Lee Seung-Hwan or Kim Hyun-Cheol's songs... those are my personal favorites... and i think it has more Korean flavor in it than Suh Taiji's songs.... =))) hehehe well, enough chat take care, everyone~~~~ "Life is a music -- Make it heard."
