If I - a most traditional & typical Korean male IMO :) - were in his shoes, I'd probably be making reservations for the wedding (just a figure of speech, but...). Korea has evolved past the "Man-gives-cow-to-father-and-takes-the-daughter" era, but I'll be frank, the males haven't quite. :) I can imagine what a bruise in self-esteem the guy would feel when you tell him your intentions in person... I say you should put effort into letting him know your feelings - no-frills, the straight method will do the job - BEFORE you ever meet him in person. And I mean 'straight and precise'. Anything less will leave the guy thinking you're just shy to admit that you want him too. Yes, we native(?) Korean males are mentally so backward(?) in time, at least I know that _I_ am. And how old am I? I'm only 27... (Whoa, I feel like 72 after writing the above) Hey~ My fellow Countrymen~! Anybody out there second my ancient mentality? :) Or is it just me and my upbringing... Sometimes I wonder myself. ,;;;;;, ,;;;;;;; ,;;;;;, ;;;;;;;, ,;;;;;, ;;; ++; ++; ++; ++; ++; ++; ++; ++; ++; ++; #++#++#++ ++###+; #++#++#++ #++ ++; #++#++#++ #++ ##+ ##+ ##+ ##+ ##+ ##+ ##+ ##+ ##+ ##+ ### ### ######## ### ### ######## ### ### ######## |
