WOW has just rewritten PC gaming hisotry in a single day. whithin a day it launched the game on Nov 23, they sold more than 200,000 copies and the second day, server got so much traffic, there was huge lag in item transactions thru auction house and even picking up item caused severe lag. there seems to have huge problem with database management server. they set up server after servers and now they have 74 servers running but still some servers are having serious congestion. i have lvl 27 human mage called "silverin" in one of RP server and from my experience this might be the best RPG ever created. one of reason might be i am in role playing server rather than normal or hormone pumping teen heavey PKP server. WOW basically killed off that powerful game name EverQuest2. EverQuest2 boasts only 14 servers and lineage2 has only about 7 servers in north america. the best part of WOW is the instancing. my guess is it will sell extreamly well even in korea. the question is how good the korean translation is... frankly i think you guys should play on american server. how good the translation is, it will lose the flavor. ;) iLUSiON - le plus grand de tous http://cyworld.nate.com/ilusion |
