From : werner (신정식) Date : Tue Apr 21 03:13:47 1992 Subject: How to 'ascii-up' by hscreen? To Sysop: You seemed to have posted an article written outside 'kids' using 'hscreen'. How did you do that? Actually, I don't have hascreen because that is of nou use to me without n-byte hangul terminal. I can use Hanterm on X, but it is very painful to ke in Hangul without Hangul keyboard and terrible delay across the pacific makes it virtually impossible for me to type Hangul in the built-in-editor of kids. 'Sysop' of kids has not replied to my request to allow user to chooseone's own editor or to post an article prepared outside 'kids'. Hence would you please let me know how to post an artile written outside 'kids' by 'hscreen'. You can answer me either e-mailto js92@cunixb.cc.columbia.edu or on this board(user id :werner). Unfortunately, only X server avaiable to me, NeXT X doesn;t have window manager so that I cannot copy a file or part of a file from other screeen. nEXT X is very strange in that it takes over whole screen when starting. Once agai, looking forward to your reply. Jungshik Shin By the way, sorry for posting something irrelevant in this board. But you did it ,first making me look up all boards to read your article about hscreen again. :) |
