I accidentally -true, all by chance- counted my videotapes yester-night. I can't remember exactly but it was somewhere around 65. Among them, 3 are Hongkong movies (A better tomorrow I/II, The Killer, I love 'em.), one is from Warner Bros. (The Flight of Dragon, a movie that took me more than 10 years to buy.), the others are Japanese Animes. I once considered some kind of digital media. I concluded, however, videotapes are the best media format available. Well, someone might say that LD is the best. True, but there is another truth: "I'm not Bill Gates." One more thing, 60 tapes that I collected are all so-called "masterpiece"s. I actually bought far more than 100 tapes but if any of them doesn't fit to "my standard", I gave it away or even trashed it. (The same goes for PlayStation/SegaSaturn/PC Game CDs.) |
