I ported EXT3 file system in Linux 2.4.19 to Linux 2.2.16 for ARM platform, and for last couple of months, it run very well without any problem. A new problem after that I met looks to be very critical as follows: journal_write_metadata_buffer: ENOMEM at get_unused_buffer_head ... When this message starts to be spreaded, kernel is locked up and no more action is not responded and gets stuck finally. Simply it appears that kernel runs out of all the resource concerning to file system buffer cache. Still I can't find out any reason to make it happen... Many articles in the Internet, just recommend to look up into the management of memory resource, hmm... Is there anyone with experience around this problematic kernel? Linux... still long way off. Thanks in advance. @@ 나비처럼 날아서 벌처럼 도배하자 @@ |
