The ability to return this error is what distinguishes non-blocking operations from blocking ones. All of the systm calls are documented in the man pages. (i.e. man accept). Note that most of them return -1 for a variety of errors. The real error can be discovered by reading the "errno" global variable. The perror () function will turn errno into a human-readable string; man perror for more info. |
