Lord... 나온지 벌써 오래된 가스펠입니다.. 3년전 여기에 지진이나서 저희 학교가 무너졌습니다. 교실이 없어서 불쌍해진 우리과 학생들을위해 UCLA에서 교실을 내주고, 멀리떨어진 병원서 실험실을 빌려줬지요. 그러나, 졸지에 야간학생이 되었습니다. 밤에만 빌려주었으니까요. :) 어느날은, 밤에 운전을하고 가는데, 폭우가 내렸습니다. (아시는 분들은 아시겠지만 켈리포냐에 겨울 우기가 되면 무섭게 비가 내려요..) 한치앞이 안보이고 길은 홍수로 차선도 안 보였죠.(빗길엔 운전조심!) 거기다가 한참을 가니, 천둥이 치며 번개까지 번쩍이는것입니다! 놀라다 기절한뻔한 토끼 :( 그 때 갑자기 흘러나온 이 찬송... 위에 있는 그 대목입니다.. In the midst of a storm.. 이걸 들을때마다, 힘들었던 학교시절 내내를 떠올리며 감사를 드린답니다! 항상 나를 지켜주신 그 분께. 이곡의 클라이막스는 여기입니다... "별들이 빛내기를 거부하고 시간이 끝난다해도 항상 신실하신 주!" |
