Example evolution versus genesis. Let me begin by saying that God truly is marvellous in his works because His bible tells you the whole history and evolution of man with the "keys" (answers) to all the mysteries and never ending questions that man is bewildered with. Now to those of you who are skeptics to what I just said, hear me out first. Let us all presume for the sake of our argument that we are God, who is said to be all KNOWING, all SEEING, and all POWERFUL. If we then are all knowing---meaning that we have practically mastered Einstein's theory of relativity, Darwin's theory of Evolution, Gallileo's solar system with the sun in the middle, and all the knowledge of today and tomorrow before the world even started, how then are we suppose to write a book for all ages and make all people to understand these facts? Ergo, if the bible is designed to be a book for all time, wouldn't we write the bible for all men to understand no matter what era, age, and intelligence men are in? Meaning, in the early olden times where Einstein, Gallileo, et. al. were not yet born to discover these scientific truths, how are we suppose to make people understand the theory that the evolution of men from millions of years which all started with a single cell animal that evolved into a neanderthal and to a cro magnon and so forth until we became what we are now as we call Homo Sapiens? Wouldn't we confuse these early people during the time of Moses since they wouldn't understand what are protozoa, homo sapiens, genes, DNA, RNA, glucose, cells, chromosomes, EM=C2, eliptical orbit, etc. means? And if we are God, wouldn't we simplify our words and stories so that a simple layman of today who may not be well educated will understand that the most important thing to tell people is that from GOD came all living things, rather than to have to explain to the lay people in a very lengthy and scientific way how we are all created? Wouldn't the simple folks prefer a simple story of Adam and Eve over the 600 volumes of Encycleopeadea of just how men truly evolved and how GOD truly created us? So, this is the same for all other stories as I suspect that GOD had cleverly written these stories to make even the most lay and un-educated person of yesterday, today, and tomorrow understand GOD's works, GOD's promises, and how GOD loves us. You see, God would rather tell you the morals and ethics of the story rather than the scientific and boring details of things. If you can't buy my story above, how about this one; I propose you talk to a 3 to 5 year old kid and explain the theory of evolution with scientific terms or even on your own layman's terms. I doubt it if you will make that child understand. But explain to him Genesis, and read to him Genesis, and you will see that this child would be not only interested with the story, but will also have learned a good moral for him to live by. Then, when the child is older, he can reconcile the bible with the scientific things he learned as he discovers them. Same is true for mankind. Our ancestors were like babies that needed a simple explanation to relay to them where we all came from, and so on and so forth with all the stories of the bible. And as we grow wiser through the years, and as we begin to discover the world's workings and myteries, we begin to understand how powerful, and wonderful, and glorious GOD truly is! That is why I am proposing that the bible stands true to its words, facts and figures, and that indeed, science is actually supporting the bible's stories and truths. As an example, the story of Genesis. Science has countlessly proven that we have evolved from single celled animals. Didn't God put it in layman's terms as he described that from dust we came from. And I challenge all to examine in a microscope mud he will discover protozoas and single celled animals inside the mud. Therefore, GOD did not lie when he actually said that men came from dusts. But the scientifif discovery leaves out the most important factor which the which the bible tells us; that from that single celled animal in the "dust," GOD patterned us out from His image and he breathed upon the dust (single celled animals) to form humans. As for the 24 hour creation of man, since GOD is all powerful (meaning He can create miracles like calming the sea, turning water into wine, raising the dead, etc. etc.), this then means that GOD can actually compress millions of years of evolution into 1 day and still manage to put the time frame in order for our scientists and non-all-knowing minds. If we just be patient, GOD has plans to reveal all mysteries we can ever imagine. If we put our faith in HIM, we will be able to get the answers to the most dificult questions we are experiencing. And if we just read the bible and accept it, afterwards reaffirm the bible with science as time passes, then we can definitely and truly believe that GOD has been truthful to us because He loves us. And this is enough for me to believe that GOD truly deserves all the glory, respect, and all our love. STOP DOUBT, BELIEVE, AND YOU WILL HAVE PEACE. |
