Not based on the achievement of logical procedure of human. If we restrict the meaning of word "illogical" as a lack of logical procedure, then we can say the Belief is eventually illogical. Belief comes from the revealation of God's thought, not the human's thought. Although, the starting points of the Belief and achievement of logical procedures are different, there is no evidence that they should conflict always. And as you and I agree, the conclusions of the two can be same, and sometimes, conflict. In the Christianity, we regard the logical procedure as a gift from God, and we are encouraged to use our logical ability to understand the world based on our knowledge as well as his words. |
