Now I have some leisure time to follow this thread. My thought: 1. Same conclusion CAN be attained from logical reasoning or belief. 2. Even if the conclusion is the same, a logical conclusion is a logical conclusion. And a belief is a belief. 3. And you can say that I use the word 'belief' here only as meaning a 'pure belief' That is why I contrast it with 'logical conclusion'. 4. As you may agree(or not?), we cannot tell if it's a logical conclusion or a pure belief(to avoid confusion) at the first look. You have to ask about its base if you are to tell whether it is a logical conclusion. 5. Before knowing about its base, it has possibility of both. but it's like saying Schroedinger's cat can be both alive OR dead. If you test it and find out which, it cannot be both alive AND dead. 6. Saying that the cat is alive, or saying that it is dead, before it is tested, is not a logical conclusion. (it is illogical, to say, not logical) 7. Saying that the possibility of the cat's being alive is much greater than of being dead from some logical base and reasoning is a logical conclusion. If the former is close to 100%, you can say that the cat is alive - from logical reasoning. (it is logical) 8. Saying that the cat must be alive from some personal affection to the cat or from no logical reasoning is a 'pure'(again, to avoid confusion) belief. (it is illogical) 9. I do not consider 7 and 8 as 'same' regarding the distinction between logic and belief. The conclusion is the same. But they are categorized exclusively different. The two different conclusions in 6 are categorized as the same: they are not logical. I hope it be enough. * FYI, you can download 'Token2 from Kids website and write in Korean.
