Proper attention to the details might have helped lessening at least a part of the current less-than-friendly replies. I don't have a clue how many people would call their opinions upon whether forecast a 'belief', but I'm sure many people in arguments would call an arguer with a not-so-honorable title when they start seeing lack of care in his/her writing, regardless of the arguer's intention.
