Please stay focused. ____ > Do not force me to stay your narrow, biased definition > of belief. With logic or without it, it is still belief. > Belief is free from logic. ------------------------------------------------------------ Ok. First, define 'Belief.' I hate it so fucking much, but one thing I really hate about discussing with christians is that they use the word - ANY WORD for that matter - with their own definition. They are exceptional at making excuses, just to let you know. Making backdoor traps, loopholes and excuses are what they're so good at. (i.e. "We're all humans.. etc etc) When you're done defining belief, answer this: Does belief involve 'LOGIC'? (You have no ground to say "You are illogical. I believe in miracle." at all, if you missed what I was getting at. Maybe the best shot you have there is "I don't know if there is a relationship like that between logic and faith, but I do believe in miracle, and I don't consider myself illogical.") *What an utter shame. I had to put the whole question in writing to let it get to the person.* ------------------------------------------------------------------- bulchul: If you want to claim that belief and logic don't conflict, prove how. I.E. Provide the ground on which you can base your belief. ____ Your statement simply says that if I have no logical base to have a belief than my logic "conflicts" to belief. If you want to have my answer about that base, please let me understand why these "conflict" if there's no base logic. (from your own narrow definition?) If you don't, you don't have right to get answer from me. ------------------------------------------------------------ So, you can believe in something that is quite oxymoron to you? (What mockery is this?) Or, did you make your own translation out of the phrase "logical base"? *Hmm. damn christians...* What does "Having no logical ground" mean to you?
