I have explained how logic and belief conflict each other, and that thus they cannot have something in common. If you say you do not understand, you must have your reason to think they have something in common. parsec: 'Believing something cannot be tested by logic" only means you are negligent of logic. _____ No. I am not negligent (taking too little care) of using logic. I just cannot, although I put enormous care on it. so the belief in something I cannot use my logic for some reasons (lack of data etc) is not "illogical" according to your '1913-version dictionary's definition. --> It's just a poor excuse. If there's no logic in believing, there's not. It's not a problem of wishing to be logical. It's your way of getting to the conclusion. If you wished or not, you chose to 'believe' rather than 'prove' to get to the final decision.
