I repeatedly said belief is free from logic. So that does not have to be contrary to logic as you said before (now you changed and I accepted). I don't want to continue to arguing with the definition of words. If I made you confused, I say sorry hoping you know what I meant. ---------- To make it clear, I didn't change anything from what I said. Only that you misunderstood the difference between "not to be logical" and "cannot be done". You said belief is free from logic. But I see you think belief is free OF logic. 'Believing something cannot be tested by logic" only means you are negligent of logic. To be negligent of logic is defined to be 'illogical' in the dictionary, as well as to be contrary to the rules of logic. Il*log"ic*al (?), a. Ignorant or negligent of the rules of logic or correct reasoning; as, an illogical disputant; contrary of the rules of logic or sound reasoning; as, an illogical inference. -- Il*log"ic*al*ly, adv. -- Il*log"ic*al*ness, n. -- The 1913 Webster Unabridged Dictionary Version 0.50 -- To be free of logic, or to be free from logic, both can be said to be 'illogical'. I also hate to dispute about definitions of words. It's a tedious job. But if you want to reduce the misunderstandings, it's a necesary evil. ◇ ~~~_ _ ∴ ~|~| | _/__, SEP. 11. 2001 _ ∴∴ _ ~ | | \ ` Armorica under a tat ,-| `,-,_| |__ | | | A ______|_|__|_|___|__|| | |__|_|_____________________________________ |
