About 2000 years ago, a swimer called Jesus came to Jordan river and drowned himself. Now after 2000 years later, you tell me to believe that poor fella who drowned himself if I want to cross the river. The very fabric of Christanisty is hinged on a single idea: *Jesus resurrected after the drowning. * Without this idea, Christanity just crumbles down because we can not possibly believe in a guy who can not even save himself. So in order to be saved, we have to believe his resurrection. If you can not belive in his resurrection, you are not a true Christian. But the problem is that only his 12 disciples and his family claimed to see his recurrection while the rest of entire humanity did not even who Jesus was. So to belive in his resurrection, we now have to believe in 12 disciples. To belive in 12 disciples are really telling the truth, we now "indirectly" invoke the fact that they were all excuted. From our history, we all know that many crackpot prophets are excuted. So what is the difference between these 12 disciples and other crackpot prophets or fanatics who are excuted? Absolutely no difference. To believe in God, Jesus, the irony is that we have to believe in 12 disciples who are only humen! Don't you think it is a little bit suspcious? ^^ |
