We are looking to fill the following (contract) position in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area immediately: Description: ECAD/ECAE Technical Sales Support Engineer Desired Qualifications: BS/MS-EE with CAD and Computer Science experience or equivalent Location: Dallas/Ft.Worth area Duties : - Provide pre-sales support throughout North America for an ECAD/ECAE Software package on several UNIX and Windows NT platforms. - Help define and implement new Software Modules based on customer and market requirements. - Provide first-class post-sales support to our customers. - Interface with engineering team in Germany to help isolate and duplicate problems within drivers and/or applications. - Support trade shows. Requirements : - BS/MS-EE or equivalent experience. - In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD or other ECAD applications. - 3-4+ years work experience. - Excellent personal, written, and communication skills. - Be a self-starter and work independently. - Demonstrated good project management skills. - Ability to travel approximately 40% - 50%. Skills Preferred: - Knowledge of UNIX and/or other Operating Systems. - Some C and C++ Programming skills. - PC software experience. - Knowledge of Windows and/or Windows NT.
