The Department's primary interests are in the areas of Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Theoretical Computer Science and Natural Language Processing but all qualified applicants in other areas will also be considered. demonstrated strong research and teaching potential. We are actively seeking outstanding candidates, and we strongly encourage qualified applicants from all levels to apply for these positions. The department offers B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science. The number of Ph.D. students grows steadily, consistent with the Institute's policy that places much emphasis on the Ph.D. program. Currently, the department consists of 22 professors, about 230 undergraduate information industry, research organizations and nationwide unversities.
