(하긴 학부 애덜은 그 비싼 학비를 거의 다 내고 다닐테니) Dear Asian Students, Once again, we are attempting to identify all of those Carnegie Mellon Asian students who have been affected or who have reason to believe they may be affected in the future by the current economic crisis in Asia. We are doing this in order to try to assess how many students are involved and what the university response should be. If you think that you will be affected, please contact the Office of International Education to talk with us about your situation. In addition, if you have been/expect to be affected, we would appreciate if you could take a few minutes to respond to the following questionnaire. If you have already sent us your response, there is no need to do so again. Please pass this questionnaire on to other students whom you think may be concerned. Finally, a fellow student sent this message as a follow up to the recent discussion on the crisis: > I came across this letter which makes for an interesting read. It > concerns US financial aid to 4 ailing SE Asia economies, which some > quarters feel is risky. > > You may wish to share this with other foreign students, as a sort of > follow up on the talk given by the GSIA faculty. > > http://www.house.gov/bernie/Pressrel/12-5-97(3).html Have a wonderful and relaxing holiday! ************************************** Questionnaire: We are currently attempting to assess the impact of the Asian Economic crisis on Carnegie Mellon students from Asia to try to assess how many of our students have been seriously affected.
