I know the limit of scientic knowledge but I doubt any serious person could question the truth of universal law of physics, the big bang origin or universe and evolution of life on the earth up to human. I understand that to spread any thought to majority of people, sometimes it's very efficient to use metaphor or myth. But I think at this stage, we can build the system without using myth and we should have courage to look at bare truth and live the life without the myth. I thought that Buddah tauhgt the way of living on the earth without the myth. I'm wondering if current Buddhism can transform itself to the system of thought which can be consistent with science. We should be the generation of human who starts the new era of the life on the earth with self consiousness of our own being without the myth. Now is the time. Matrix should be broken. |
